INSTRUMENTS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

“Jacinta" - completed 2019

Although the label is dated 2015, the instrument was only recently finished, as it had been set aside (and forgotten) due to other intervening projects.  As such it is essentially new old stock - NOS.  The 12th fret action is currently set at 4.0mm and 3.5mm respectively (E6, E1) with plenty of saddle to adjust lower if desired.

The sound is full and robust with excellent sustain and beautiful, clear trebles - a worthy performance instrument.

Specifics:

  • Romanillos plantilla with Romanillos adapted Torres bracing (graduated fan braces vs. all at 7mm wide x ~3mm tall)

  • 650mm scale - 52mm wide at nut

  • Master-grade Western red cedar soundboard

  • Premium Cocobolo back and sides, binding, headstock, and bridge

  • Spanish cedar neck

  • Gabon ebony fingerboard

  • Handmade mosaic rosette, with coordinated purflings, tieblock, and backstrip

  • Romanillos-style 18 hole tieblock
